I volunteered to staff this Creative Time project in the abandoned Essex Market.  It is absolutely amazing- a wonder of salvage (salvation?) and abandonment that presents a weirdly comforting and distressing picture of Americana. It’s open every weekend until October 28 so GO!

Metal and I marched in the Art Parade a few weeks back-masked, half-naked, covered in fake blood, and pulling a giant wolf’s head created by Dennis McNett. It ruled. Here are some links to photos, the NY Times write up, and his brilliant work:
